This contract and guarantee is made with the buyer listed and is NOT transferable. If the puppy listed is sold, given away, etc., after purchase, this contract/guarantee is null and void, and the seller will no longer be held responsible for anything, medical or otherwise, involving the puppy. If for any reason the buyer can not keep the puppy listed in this agreement buyer agrees to return puppy to breeder with all paperwork and no refund. The resale or giving away of this puppy is strictly against this contract.
This puppy must be examined by a licensed vet within 2 weeks of purchase and given their second round of shots. No puppy should be placed on the outside ground before having their full parvo vaccine rounds. Failure to follow these guidelines puts your puppy at risk. The seller is no longer held responsible for any puppy found to have parvo virus with these rules broken or after the two week period.
If the puppy is found to have a life-threatening congenital/hereditary defect within the 2-week period, a full refund will be issued to the Buyer upon return of the puppy to the Seller, along with all CKC/AKC paperwork and a written statement from the veterinarian detailing the puppy's condition and supporting documentation of tests performed and/or appropriate X-rays.
In the unfortunate event that the puppy should die, the Buyer is required to have a necropsy (autopsy) done at their expense by CLEMSON UNIVERSITY COOPERATIVE EXTENSION SERVICE, PROFESSIONAL VETERINARY PATHOLOGY SERVICES, or another similar facility. A copy of the results, including the exact date and cause of death, must be provided to the Seller before consideration of a refund of the purchase.
If at any time the Buyer elects to have the puppy euthanized, for any reason, the seller is released from all liability regarding the health of the puppy, as well as any expenses incurred by the Buyer.

The Seller will not be responsible for viruses, parasites (internal or external), including but not limited to ear mites, worms, fleas, respiratory infections, coughs, colds, and certain types of bacterial infections such as coccidiosis and giardia. These conditions are not covered by this guarantee as they are considered common and manageable health issues. Each puppy is checked for these by Easley Animal Hospital and leaves the sellers care with a clean bill of health.
Breed-related conditions are also not covered by this agreement, as it is the Buyer's responsibility to research the breed and potential issues before adoption.
